As musical director for Grease in London's West End, Dan accompanied Jocasta Almgill in this special acoustic rendition of "There Are Worse Things I Can Do"

Dan also had the opportunity to write a new orchestration for the iconic song "Hopelessly Devoted" to be performed by a 50-piece orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, as part of Magic.fm's "Magic at the Musicals" event. You can hear this arrangement, sung by Olivia Moore, below:

Arts Ed Showcase 2023

In February 2023, Dan was musical director for the degree showcase of the third year musical theatre students at prestigious London drama school Arts Ed. As well as rehearsing and preparing the performances with director Jonathan O'Boyle, he accompanied all 54 students on piano for their final filming. All of the showcase videos are available here .

Sterts 2021

In January 2021, funding was secured for a community workshop of a new musical at Sterts Theatre in Cornwall. The show is a new musical based on Cornish mythology; with an original score by Dan, book by Will Hartley and direction by Phil Croft. After an initial period of R&D in May, a workshop will take place with a community cast in the Autumn of 2021.
